Honestly I haven't tried. I absolutely dislike using paths with spaces, so none of mine have spaces in them intentionally. I would guess not since the last revision was a couple months ago. Though, there is a new revision scheduled to come out soon (1.2), so when that comes out you can try it.

It might also have something to do with the Netbeans platform they developed on. It isn't the most recent, so it might be an issue with that.

Edit:
I just tried renaming a directory to "pic24 test" and created an mplabx project there. It didn't seem to have an issue. Where were you having a problem with it? I can test some different things.

Edit:
Just tried a header file with a space in the path with no issues as well. Tried a header file name with a space in it. So far no issues.

Hello,

I installed mplab x, but i tried to make a project from old mplab 8 project and i put compiler ccs, but when my c file opens it looks like the compiler is not recognized.

I saw this post http://www.ccsinfo.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=45323
which means that ccs is supported by mplab x.

You didn't say what errors you got. A lot of times you have to go into the properties for the CCS compiler and set #include directories for it to work. Also, I don't know if it matters with MPLABX, but I also have the CCS mplab plugin installed (comes from the downloads page)

The version I used was 1.00.

I will watch for 1.20 and try it again.
