Why to use low speed CAN if high speed CAN is available? |

My question is Why to use low speed CAN if high speed CAN is available.
Is there any hardware dependency on this.

The usual reason is because of noise. The slower the speed the more environmental noise you can tolerate, the longer distance you can go, etc, etc. Basically the faster you try to go the more critical the wiring setup is. Past a certain point you will no longer be able to keep up and errors will overtake valid data. |
